Why Cocreate Change?

To flourish on this precious planet, we need creativity and collaboration...especially in complexity.

But when we’re overwhelmed or burnt out, our nervous systems move into dysregulation — and with that, our capacity to think clearly, relate well, and create meaningfully is compromised.

To cocreate thriving futures, we need to understand our nervous systems and expand our capacity to respond with care, not react from stress in each moment.

This is response-ability: the capacity to meet challenge with presence, make wise decisions, and collaborate across difference. As embodiment teacher, Amanda Blake states “awareness creates choice, practice builds capacity”. Response-ability requires practice.

Founded by Jax Wechsler

Cocreate Change was founded by Jax Wechsler, a systemic coach, social designer, and trauma-aware educator with 20+ years’ experience in social innovation, wellbeing, and inner development. 

I’ve spent years teaching trauma-aware practices and nervous system literacy to designers and changemakers. I’ve seen how powerful this work can be — for individuals, teams, and whole systems.

Because big change depends on collaboration. Collaboration depends on safety, regulation, and connection. This is the work I can’t not do.
